Black lettering is a bit of a challenge
but we pulled it off.

The above is a cover up I did on my big brother,Mark. He's a great guy and I love him dearly.

Below is a clear example of why you DON'T sit down with some guy,or in this case gal in Shelburne, just because she's cheap. It's beyond pitiful, truthfully.Research your artist and remember this...you get what you pay for.Don't support scratchers.
Helpful hint:
You ought to be asking to see a portfolio that shows a good quantity, quality and variety of the artist's work, including photos of healed tattoos.Listen to that persons reputation. They may have done a couple of good tattoos but what about the awful ones?Do you really want to be the recipient of one of those?A good artist puts out consistant good quality work always. No "real" tattoo artist does it on the side for extra cash at his kitchen table,or drunk at a party.A tattoo is something you'll be wearing for the rest of your life.Go to a legitimate tattoo artist's shop if you want value for your money. And remember this saying.....
*The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten.* Amen!
Obviously, this woman needs to put away the tattoo equipment.

Notice this scorpion has only 2 legs on one side and looks rather like....well.The poor guy-at least now it's fixed.Clearly, there is a major difference in the work quality of one who tattoos occasionally and one who does it 5 days a week.

Now you see that you may not be stuck with whatever bad tattoo you've been hiding.
This is only the tip of the iceburg,a few examples to show you how a tattoo can be altered or covered if you need one to be.It is by no means meant to be a criticism of any *legitimate* artist's work.I always give credit to the original 'artist'(anonymously) in my books.
